I have exactly the same error msg and I, to have to close down my system and of course the " Windows was shut down improperly" msg and then it goes into the "scandisk" mode. When and if you find out the problem, please post it. I will do the same. I sent out posting on Hardwarecentral.com...This is also a good tech/general info site. Good luck.
