Bob11. Thank you for replying to my problem but where do I get this update. I clicked on "here" but it really didn't tell me where to get it.

Thanks

Seeker: I'm not familiar with that particular video card but I found the location on their site to download updated drivers. Try here.

If the video card was installed by Dell you might try searching the Dell site as well. Click on 'Downloads' on the blue menu at the top of the page.

Seeker: NVDISP.DRV, according to skimpy information I came up with, relates to the

NVIDIA Riva TNT2 Model 64 video card with 16MB of RAM

I found information that indicates that an updated video driver may solve the problem. The info is here.

Seeker: You may want to post in 'Customer Service - Other' concerning your Video Card if you're not sure what to download (I know it's confusing).

On Attuned. Conventional wisdom, going by what's posted in the various conferences here, leads me to believe it may be one of those things that's more trouble than it's worth. I don't run it, so don't take my word for this. Hopefully someone who has direct experience with it will jump in here......

Thank you Bob11. The card was installed by Dell. I looked in their download site and there was one I think it might be but I'm not sure. It didn't have the word Riva in it and it was Windows98. I have Windows 98 Second Edition. Not sure it is the right one.

Also since I sent this first message I have gotten another illegal operation message. This one was in Attune. Attune_DI caused an invalid page fault in module Kernel32.DLL at 017f:bff71992. Know anything about that?

Thanks again for your help

Thank you so much Bob11. You have been a big help to me and have eased my mind. Still fairly new with all this stuff and get uneasy quick.

I would definitely get rid of Attune as fast as you possibly can. We were plagued by constant kernel 32.dll errors with Attune. After looking up Attune on the search menu at the top of this forum and reading all of the problems other people had I uninstalled it. I have not had a single kernel32.dll error since. (HONESTLY!!!) It seems to be one of those programs that are supposed to prevent problems but only cause them. Hope this helps get rid of some scary error messages for you.

Thanks for all of your help!!

Seeker: Take DJF's advise and get rid of Attuned. I just spent the last hour looking at past posts and I think it's pretty clear you want to be shed of it like Debby said. Do that first and see if your errors don't go away. You'll probably find you don't need to mess with your video drivers unless you simply want to see if there's an update..... Good luck.

Bob11...Thank you for spending so much time looking at the past posts on Attuned. I will uninstall it right now and see if that helps. Many thanks.
