More information is certainly needed, at least on the model of your computer. Note that PC133 SDRAM is backward compatible with PC100 SDRAM. To find the exact RAM for your system at a good price, go to http://www.crucial.com and use the memory selector to find the exact RAM from your system.

As dimms are probably going to become dinosaurs, you probably
should just get pc100's unless you want to spend the extra $$ for 133's
which will run at pc100 anyway.

thank you all for your help My system is a dell dimension l series my processor runs @ 833 mh and i currently have 128mb of memory. I have enough information to order more memory thanks again and regards DEADNURSE
