SM bus controller is the Intel Chipset device driver. This is the link for the support site select the relevant version of windows 10 installed and install the Intel 8 Series Chipset Device Software Driver .

Also service tag of the system  contains customers name and contact details, hence we ask the users to send it over via private message.

Yes the system now recognize the ”SM-buscontroler” after installing the driver and windows itself do the upgrade to the Intel series 8 driver.

But now I have some great problems with booting the PC, maybe because I have a Samsung EVO 840 SSD 250 GB as the boot disk.

The boot setup doesn’t recognize the SSD every time. Do you have a suggestion of what to do?
