MS upgrade, Graphics controller
Hello, just got an Micro-Soft upgrade notice on my toolbar (Dell 3000, WinXP) saying an upgrade was ready to install... told it go ahead, express choice, it tries, then says not able to install or, failed to install... it's tried eight times already... I wonder what's wrong? Anyone?

I have the same issue but I'm running a Dell 4600 on Windows XP. As I am unsure of the type of "on board" video I'm running I'm not sure if this an update I really need. I am also attemtping to contact Dell via the Chat option.

As a side note, unless you shut off the upgrade notification (advanced option)for this particular upgrade file the automatic update notification will continue to happen.
