MSGSRV32 not responding

When I first get into Windows ME, I am usually good. However, once I start to run something my PC usually freezes. When I hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE to check my programs that are running, I get a MSGSRV32 not responding message. After this, if I End Task that message, I can't run anything, because then I get a "mmtask (not responding) message. I am kind of angry because I purchased the PC only two weeks ago and I really don't like the fact that this is happening when the machine is so new. I even formatted the PC from scratch and it STILL happened. If anyone can help I will greatly appreciate it.

This is the only relevant mention of this on the MS KnowledgeBase. Are you using a screensaver?
