No Boot Device Available
I just bought a dell optiplex 755 sff system. but when i go into the boot menu and change the sata operation to ATA (because it won't boot if I set to AHCI) it gets past the dell screen and says no boot device available.
I have found a work around though. When i boot it to the boot menu and select my drive it boots to the windows screen. But you have to do it each time and it is quite annoying.
Is there a way to fix this since my drive doesn't support AHCI
I have dell a22 bios
Western Digital WDC5000AAKS Hard Drive.

Make sure the HDD is listed first in the Boot Sequence in BIOS setup. Be sure to save the change before exiting setup
And you may need to replace the motherboard battery which holds any BIOS settings that have been changed from the factory defaults.
