PCI Simple Communications Controller driver
Insp 580 - ~ 4 years old
Win 7
I just did a clean install of Win7(from the Dell disk) and am getting the error message that the PCI driver is not found. How do I find the driver? Can't download anything(very slow-is this related to this driver)so I can't use any of the Dell diagnostics stuff to identify anything.
How do I figure out what h/w driver I need and where to get it?Did not see it on the 'drivers' disk I have from Dell.
I have other machines on my network so the download issues does not seem to be network issue,

If you do not have a modem then PCI simple communications controller is INTEL Management Engine AMT SOL HECI Drivers. They are all in the CHIPSET category.

Thanks for translating that. I downloaded and installed. Now I have no messages or warnings. But I do have terribly slow browser performance(I had to download the drivers on another machine).
I think I will create a new thread for that.
