PIP Errors....HELP!!!!!!!!

This is driving me crazy. I am running Windows ME on a Dell Dimension, 56K Dial Up. When creating a card or flyer using Picture It! Publishing 2001, I get 90% thru the project and get PIP error messages and lose the whole thing. Some of the messages I am getting are "PIP has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL or in PISERVR5.DLL or in KERNEL 32.DLL OR PPEDITS5.DLL". Those are the most recent ones I jotted down. Any help will save my sanity. I am ready to throw the whole program out the window.

This link from Gateway support is the best I have ever found on PIP errors. It is very comprehensive and I am sure you will find your problem here. Most of the errors I experienced with PIP were solved by shutting off all script blocking programs ( like NAV ) and also downloading the MS patch for PIP if you have not already done so.

Happy pipping.

You need the HP update. Look here

If you still get errors try updating your printer driver.

Fredha, I have a Lexmark printer. Do I still check into the HP update?

June,
If you have Norton AntiVirus 2001 or 2002 installed then its script blocking feature is most likely the cause of your problems. Take a look at this.

Just wanted to say "Thanks" to all of you. With your help, I think I've got the problem licked. I downloaded the HP patch and so far............it's working. Thanks again for your quick responses and tips.
