POUND SIGN ON KEYBOARD DOES NOT FUNCTION
I have a Dell Quiet Key when I press the Pound sign on the board the following symbol appears # and also the following symbol @ does not correspond on the keyboard i.e @ and " do not match on the keyboard .
WHEN I PRESS THE @ SYMBOL I GET "
WHEN I PRESS THE " SYMBOL I GET @
Regional settings are set to English( United Kingdom) and the currency sign is showing but no where when I press on the Keyboard can find the pound sign??

I have managed to solve this problem myself:
1: CLICK START>> SETTINGS > > CONTROL PANEL
2: CLICK KEYBOARD>> CLICK LANGUAGE
3: CLICK PROPERTIES>> SCROLL DOWN TO SELECT DESIRED LANGUAGE : BRITISH >> CLICK OK
4: IT MAY ASK YOU TO INSERT THE WINDOWS 98 DISK.
£££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ All characters are in the right place now when I click the relevant key on the Keyboard.
