Precision T7500 2nd CPU Riser Card - Part Codes ?
Hi,
I seem to be going around in circles on what i though was a simple task.
I need to know the part code to order the 2nd CPU riser card for a PWS T7500, I want the riser on it own (no CPU) and also do i need to order a heatsink or does it come as part of the riser card ?
Hopefully I can then call UK sales and order the part(s).....

The CPU Riser has 6 Ram Slots on it.
You have to evenly distribute ram between each cpu.
Aka if you have 2 Ram sticks one goes into slot 1 on the motherboard and 1 in the cpu riser.
4 ram sticks 2 go on motherboard 2 on riser.
Up to 128 Gig is possible but these are fully buffered Dimms and should all be matched as far as speed and timing.

Yes All the ram should match, size, speed, rank, density.

Hi I have 6x4gb memory in motherboard do I need the same memory type in the riser?
