Please open the case and make sure your CPU fan i not clogged with dust.
Then try this. Disconnect PC from its power source, press/hold power button for ~15 sec to dissipate power. Open the case and remove battery from the motherboard. Press/hold power button again. Reinstall the battery, close the case and reboot. This will remove the "previous attempts" error. Let me know if you continue to experience problems.
