Did you use ctrl+alt+delete because the start/shutdown button wouldn't work?
Though ctrl+alt+deleteX2 will reboot the computer, it's a bit rough, and I've sometimes seen it generate error messages. If everything works OK, I wouldn't worry about the error message. But use start/shutdown in the future if you can.
