System memory failure??
I have a Precision 370 that is having some RAM issues. Windows is unstable (it crashes to the BSD before I can log in or usually a few minutes after). I've run the DELL diagnostic and keep getting
Error Code 2F2F:0119 Msg: System memory failure.
Everything else checks out fine (according to the diagnostic tool) and I've swapped around the RAM just to see if that would solve anything, but no dice.
Is this an issue with the RAM itself or am I looking at a motherboard issue?
Thanks

Remove all exept one memory module and then see if you get the error. If no more errors then one of the other memory modules could be bad (or a bad slot).l

Hi Dfits001,
Check your diagnostic lights.

More problems, after switching out the RAM as you suggested, the whole unit will not cycle on. I have checked to make sure nothing is obstructing the case from closing and even switched plugs but the unit will not power back on.

Sorry I didn't specify, the whole unit is not getting power. No lights anywhere. Am I missing something, could I have tripped something on the unit itself?

So the system is back up and running. I have four yellow lights, and have removed 2 sticks of RAM. I ran the Dell Diag. and am now getting a totally new error.
"Expected fan on high RPM of 2100. Detected Fan=0"
I'm starting to feel like the whole system is in terminal failure(!)

I would first try clearing the error from the BIOS and reboot. If it repeats, you need a fan. Call Dell spare parts. They're cheap and easy to replace.
