Upgrading Video Card

I have a Dell Dimension 2400 computer. The video card that came with the computer  is not up to some games that

I have purchased. Can you tell me whether the card is upgradable to a better one on the Dell 2400?

Thanks.

Generally, a 2400 would not come with any dedicated video and have integrated graphics only.  It may be a challenge to get this computer to play games depending on what games you purchased.  You could have a Celeron or Pentium processor and hopefully the latter.  You can only use PCI cards in this system.  You are limited to a 250 watt power supply at the most and have memory limitations.   You could look at the Nvidia 6200 or 8400GS cards as they are about the same in performance and would be better than the older FX cards which have been around for a long time.  Don't expect to play any of the newer games with these cards.  HERE is a 8400GS and if you notice the 2nd review, he put this in his 2400.  HERE is a 6200 that has been put in the Dimension 2400 also based on a review.
