Windows Update on Multiple Computers?
Does anybody here know if it is possible to use the Windows Update like for Security updates on multiple computers? What I mean, is it possible to download the updates once and install them on multiple computers. I have 4 Windows 2000 computers, all identical and needing the same updates and 10 Windows 98 machines all needing the same updates for 98. We dial up to the internet using a common dial-up modem and we're limited to a specific number of hours. Our open business hours are minutes short of this limit so I can't do each computer individually since they're all public machines and I would like to have them available during business hours. So, I guess if anybody knows if this Windows Updating thing is possible, I'd love to hear from you...

You need to go here for Win98 updates: http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/downloads/corporate.asp
Download the updates install files you need to one computer, then either share it over your network, or burn them to a CD-R or a -RW so you can take them around to the other systems and install them offline.
The procedure will be the same for your version of 2000 as well. http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/default.asp

Hope this works for you,
