XPS 27 Memory Moving Inversion Test Failed
Diagnostics is telling me my system memory has failed the moving inversion test on my Dell XPS 27 (purchased in 2013).
The information for my specific system shows ChannelA-DIMM0 8,192.0MB ChannelB-DIMM0 8,192.0MB. I assume this means I have two 8GB SODIMM's since I understand I only have two slots.
Is this the system memory being referred to in the test?
If so, is there a way to determine which of the SODIMMs is failing the test or could it possibly be both SODIMMs?
Thanks for your help!

Either way, probably best to replace both of them so you have an identically matched pair. Otherwise, a mixed pair may not run in dual channel mode.
But before you do that, you might want to carefully reseat both RAM modules in their slots and use canned air to clean out all the dust bunnies. Then run the tests again.
And also consider trying a different memory test such as the free version of memtest86 which you can run from a bootable USB stick.

Not sure if this is where to put this information, but removing the modules and reseating them removed the error.
