Dimension E510

Question

Can anybody provide me with a pinout for the Dimension E510 Front Panel I/O Connection board?  I specifically want to know which pins are for the power switch so I can try shorting the pins on the motherboard.  I'm wondering if maybe the front I/O board failed or something.   Currently the computer does nothing when the power button is pressed.  The powersupply seems fine because the computer still won't boot with a known working powersupply.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks.

Shorting green to black on the motherboard PSU connector will signal the PSU to start up. It is not exactly what you asked, but is one step away. Peter

Yeah... Thanks for the effort, but I don't think that's quite what I need.  If this would help anybody, it looks like the part number for the front I/O connector is: Dell X8682.   That board is nearly impossible to trace the pins off from.  I was getting circuits on the board itself when using a meter, so I couldn't determine what pins the power button controlled.  Maybe there is a board schematic somewhere.   Thanks.

Sorry, but, Dell has never published the pinouts of their proprietary motherboards and front panel connectors.
