Help with Memory questions/understanding.

In the past I have recieved wonderfull help about memory questions, and I think I may actually be understanding some of it... Thank you. However; I have a couple of more questions because I have a differant system which has a little differant specs.
I have two systems (XPS T500, and a Dimension 4100). I understand that the 256 meg sticks for the XPS T500 need to be PC100/PC133 LOW DENSITY 16 chip memory sticks.  I have listed the spces nessary as from the DELL system information. My questions are below....

XPS T500
Architecture: ECC or non-ECC SDRAM modules
DIMM sockets: three; gold contacts
DIMM capacities: 32, 64, 128, and 256 MB
Minimum RAM: 64 MB (non-ECC)
Maximum RAM: 768 MB
Frequency: 100 MHz
Clock cycle: 10 ns (supports 4 clocks only)
CAS latency: three
SPD revision: 1.2A
Buffering: unbuffered
Voltage: 3.3 V
Data bus width: 8 bits
BIOS address: E8000h - FFFFFFh

DIMENSION 4100
Architecture: non-ECC PC133 SDRAM
Memory sockets: two; gold contacts
Memory capacities: 64, 128, and 256 MB (non-ECC)
Minimum memory: 64 MB (non-ECC)
Maximum memory: 512 MB (non-ECC)
Frequency: 133 MHz
Clock cycle: 7.5 ns (supports 4 clocks only)
CAS latency: 3
SPD revision: 1.2 A
Buffering: unbuffered
Voltage: 3.3 V
Data bus width: 64 bits
  1.  Aside from the ECC/NON-ECC support differances, the biggest differance that I notice is in the 'data bus width' of 8 vs. 64. IS this saying that the Dimension 4100 supports HIGH DENSITY ram?
  2. IF that is telling me that the 4100 can take high density ram, is it REQUIRED?? In other words can I take the 'PC100 non-ECC LOW density 256 MEG' stick from the XPS T500, and put it into the D4100?
  3. Dose the 'data bus width' have anything to do with it at all???
-Thanks

The XPS-T and 4100 systems use the same type of RAM, with a couple of exceptions.

The T will take ECC. The 4100 won't.

Both need low density RAM.

Dang, so the dimension 4100 requiers Low density ram as well. bummer.
Ok. perhaps some one can explane this to me.

               'Data buss width'?
What is it exactly?
If they both take the same kind of memory, why is there such a big differance?
 (T500 at 8 -vs- D4100 at 64)
