ECS CAS network failover read and content failover read

The CAS API support content failover read and network failover read.  My question will this functionality still exist when customer migrate to ECS since the bucket is using CAS.   Will the ECS work like centera, the SDK will auto discover the other site ECS IP address without actually configure that in the application?
