E6410 keyboard backlight mystery!

I have just received a new E6410 laptop from work and was told it had a keyboard backlight. How do I find out if my computer has, and if it has how do I turn it on? (I found on one discussion forum "Fn- right arrow" but this results in nothing!

You may want to ask on the Dell Community Site: www.en.community.dell.com, they have areas specific to laptops. On my 6410 FN+right arrow controls the backlight keyboard. You may also have to have something turned on in the bios.

Look at your keyboard, If the right arrow has a symbol that looks like a key with light rays coming out of it.. it is a backlit keyboard. It is the same symbol on Dell inspiron keyboards etc. Pretty easy way to tell.

the right arrow key does not have the light rays as mentioned...so the laptop is not having the backlight?...the model is latitude e6410
