If you click on each of the hist returned with IE you get first one opened in new windows. Each next gets opened in that second window.
With FF I use force-new-tab-each-new-window setting and usually when I see a list of responses I click on them to be opened in new window as as new tab. That in returns opens 2 windows - one with search result and one with wanted result. Clicking on each opens a windows in new tab, but it is much slower process (actually the slowest out there to be honest). The setup and they way PL was designed is far away from easy-to-use-and-navigate approach and I really hope fixes and changes in April will change that.
Btw, this thread should be moved to PL forum.

Is there some technical reason why PowerLink can't offer a simple link to the specific thread (as we are all familiar with below)?
https://forums.emc.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=431325#431325
Remember when PowerLink first came out...we had the same issue with the main forums link creating a new window that was full-screen. Both IE and FireFox support the user choice to "create a new window" or "create a new tab", I truly believe this functionality should be left to the discretion of the user and not forced by the interface.
Proposed Quick Fixes
1) Would it be possible to offer another link or icon that used a simple link to the thread?
2) If quick fix #1 takes too much time could you simply offer the thread Id as part of the results? If I had the thread Id I would manually type the URL into my location bar rather than go through the interface given now (does that communicate how annoying the current interface is?)

For countries where bandwidth availabe, this feature is must as you dont know that search result will help or not So you will open multiple search results in background to allow some time them to open
