Developer Site

It may be helpful if you placed a link back to the EMC Developer Site ( http://developer.emc.com) somewhere on teh Support Forums. There is a lot of good information there that people can no longer find.

You are right - there is a lot of great info there, and I hope this thread leads users there.

The challenge we have with Forums relative to Powerlink and other sites is that Forums was designed to be a auxiliary site to Powerlink (rather than fully integrated), and any intra-site or inter-site navigation is handled through Powerlink. Perhaps we'll introduce some navigation options within the Forums, but that is not currently planned.

Thanks,
Erich

Also not able to search Support Notes and Bugs.Forum search is really not good. You do search on something and end result is something else.Instead of restricting to other EMC software can we something dedicated to Documentum only from where developer can find the information and can work on as they used to do earlier without Powerlink.

Powerlink is in fact not boosting the work!!!!!!!

Hi Deepak,

we are addressing every issue we can in the Powerlink forum, where there are threads about Search and other topics.

Thanks,
Erich

Hi Erich
Thanks.I wanted to only say that Powerlink overall looks good from the point of view that its central place and you get all the information of the EMC.However one example let me give you I am in forum writing reply to you now in between I get something wrong in Webtop then instead of looking into the issue I will go to link Back To support on the same page I am and open the support notes and bugs infact the whole knowlegebase now in powerlink you know I have to go to homepage but that is still in vain.

Anyway thanks for reply.

Regards
Deepak

Hi Deepak,

I'm sorry, but I'm not understanding the steps you are taking, or the issue you are seeing - can you describe it again, step by step, please?

Thanks,
Erich
