ERROR :There is already a machine using the name WITH NEW CLIENT

Hi, I have a problem with backup a Windows Client with EBS 7.4.4. The version of the client is also 7.4.4. The error message is : There is already a machine using the name: '%s'. Either choose a different name for your machine, or delete the '%s' entry for '%s' on host: '%s' 4 0 18 hefrkdc01.hefr.lan 0 20 NSR peer information 0 18 hefrkdc01.hefr.lan 12 9 hefrbck01 0 0 On the Error Guide for EBS 7.4.x, they are workaround for this error on page 557. But I can found this two scripts on my server, script export_auth_info_unix.sh and script import_auth_info_unix.sh. The workaround is: This error occurs when the nsrla resource on the machine has been deleted. Do not delete the /nsr/res/nsrlabd directory (or Windows equivalent). If you need to test the new authentication and must delete the directory, While nsrexecd is running: 1. Export the NetWorker instance identification information ( including certificate, private key and other fields) 2. Reimport the information after deleting the directory and restarting nsrexecd. Use the file export_auth_info_unix.sh (or export_auth_info_win.bat on Windows) to export the information and import_auth_info_unix.sh (or import_auth_info_win.bat on Windows) to import the information. Note: nsrexed does not need to be restarted after performing these operations. To use the scripts: 1. Run the export script 2. Shut down NetWorker and delete your res directory. 3. Start nsrexecd and run the import script. 4. Start all other NetWorker daemons. So, where it's possible to download this two scripts? Regards /Olivier

You can disable nsrauth on server and storage nodes and you will also resolve the problem (restart of application required).

Thanks for your reply, but I have found a solution. I have remove the client with the nsradmin tool not with the Console.Regards/Olivier
