It would be useful if people other than the person asking the question could mark a comment as useful - there have been occasions when I've found an old forum note that had answered my question.
Again it would be useful if other users could dispute whether something is correct - I have seen instances, usually with new slightly confused users, where the first reply is marked correct or the reply they want to hear is marked correct; it doesn't happen often but it means there is suspect information endorsed as accurate in the system...

Thanks for your useful feedback, it adds to some comments I had (I think from Hrvoje) that it might even be better to remove the ability to mark messages as Correct or Helpful completely in favour of a voting system from all users of some sort.

I'm putting this high on our list of desirable changes for the hypothetical time when we might upgrade or change platforms, with all the improvements coming at EMC with the project for a new online support experience (Next Generation Online Experience) project this may be sooner than I think.
