Grouping object types

Question

Hi Friends, We have a design constrain, actually in our system we are forced to create 1000 object types. I feel it will be troublesome for enduser to select a object type, like user needs to search 1000 object types, for want of a one object type. Can you guys help in, how simple this can be resolved, so that end user will not feel the pinch of the searching 1000 object types in search of a single object type. your feedback is really appreciatable, Thanks in Advance -Arun
