Mark this topic as a question

Better yet, can we default the option to "Mark as question"?

There are still plenty of new users who dont know that they have to do this in order to mark answers as correct. Then, we have to tell them that they have to repost the question in order for us to repost the answers, so that they can mark them as correct.

Why do we need that question in the first place ???

Just remove that...and default everything as questions..no matter what. In any case, there is nothing informational going on in this forum !

Even if it is informational, and if that information helped someone it wont do any harm awarding points for the 'useful' information posted..

I agree with anand..just have all topics as questions....either ways there are a lot of ungrateful users who dont grant points or mark answers as correct...
so atleast for those who want to grant points the all topics should be made questions...
I think it will avoid confusion that way..
