Yes, EMC has a couple of products that may be suitable, if you already have PowerPath on the host then you probably already have enough to perform the migration, the most recent versions of PowerPath come with PowerPath Migration Enabler software built in. http://tinyurl.com/dfs6m7
Another alternative is EMC Open Migrator, this gives alot more options and flexibility than PPME - documentation here http://tinyurl.com/chf3yb
And finally, yes, a host can connect to a CLARiiON and DMX simultaneously. And yes you can use native tools like dd, cp and tar to move the data.
