Most Popular Discussions
I am not able to get the purpose of having "Most Popular Discussions" box at the bottom right side.
This box only shows most recent messages...i think there is no point of having this box on the same page where we are already viewing all the messages including recent.
any way..may be somebody could describe..else I would also treat this as a FEATURE without any PURPOSE

Did you receive the email describing the upgrade to the forums this weekend? Here's the highlights:
New Landing Page - Forums and Categories will be more intuitively laid out, and expertise in new subject areas will be highlighted
"My Favorite Forums" - Using a user's Watched Forums, the Landing Page will highlight your chosen Forums. (Users must first set up Forum Watches -see Forum Help for assistance.)
Forum Consolidation - Within a Category, all the recent Threads from its Forums are shown in the same view
Summarize Watches - you can choose to have watches summarized daily rather than triggered individually
