Remove UDP pings from console main window under setup. You may wih to restart gstd service after that.

To be honest I had this few times when server network interface NMC was using was really really busy or when using proxy with java. Eliminating those brought stability.

I see that you are using 7.4SP3 and I assume you might be using recent build which has been posted day or two ago to public - so far I'm not pleased with all results of that version so if you believe this is 7.4SP3 issue you may try NMC from 7.4SP2 version.

Is your NMC server installed on the backup server? Ae you connecting to NMC from NMC machine of remotely? If in hurry, you should open this with support.

I really don't see why not. Or whoever is trying to sell you should offer you a help.

What you could do, for a test, is install NMC on Windows box and try to run it from there.

Your partner or EMC pre-sales should help you. I would suggest if you want to use on the same server as NW, uninstall NMC, delete \Legato\Management folder and the reinstall with a freshh database. Also, check if port 2638 is free.
