Points for correct/helpful answers

Question

I am not sure whether this matter has been discussed (probably has been). I wanted to find out if the moderators go through at least some of the threads and award points to the people who might have given correct/helpful answers. I feel that that will help people to identify threads that will help them (During search, I always look for the bulb or star) and of course help the solution givers incentive to do that. Thanks.

Yes, I know that were, but no, we the moderators do not know this so we need to thump the folks that neglect to do so. JB

Hi,I agree with you that helpful answers should be rewarded, but, no, the moderators do not do this. The person that posts the question, should do this. Cheers,JB
