Responding via e-mail

I noticed we can now respond to a thread by replying to the e-mail that gets sent out, not sure if that was possible or not in the powerlink forums. My company puts a footer/disclaimer on our emails as they go out. Does anyone know if that would be put into the thread? I can imagine that would get a bit annoying.

Can one or more of you send me the Notification emails that you received and to which you replied to? We are trying to debug this issue and need that data. Also, we would like to get the full mail headers.

You could copy paste the text in a text or doc file and send it to me - patil_aashish@emc.com

Thanks,

Aashish

FYI - I've moved this thread into our General Topics forum, as it's about our platform.

We fixed an issue that might have been causing the issue of emails getting dropped sporadically.

Thanks,

Aashish

I hope it now keeps no working. Email is so much more convenient than having to go to the site. On the other hand: when I'm not sure my reply will be on the forum, I must say I will continue to go to the site. It would be a shame when replies are lost.....

There are no known issues with the reply-by-email feature. If you find that its not working do let us know.
