Url find and replace

Question

It looks like you guys have tried to replace the old urls with new ones. However, I think the syntax might be a little for a few of them. If you look at this thread: https://forums.emc.com/forums/thread.jspa?tstart=0&threadID=34452 You will see that a post made in Apr has a url that has been updated to this: http://forums.emc.com/jive3/thread.jspa?forumID=17&threadID=32946&messageID=335517#335517 If you try this url, it will fail. You need to replace 'jive3' with 'forums' for the redirect to work correctly. So the proper url should be: http://forums.emc.com/forums/thread.jspa?forumID=17&threadID=32946&messageID=335517#335517

It looks like there is a problem with links to support notes. If i search in Powerlink for esg2428 i find the support note, but when i post the link it doesn't work anymore.

Hi Hartmut,it depends on where you get the URL - in this case, it appears to have stored your session information.You could either edit the URL once you have it to appear like this: http://solutions.emc.com/emcsolutionview.asp?id=esg2428 by removing the nsepn/webapps/ / Or you could find it by clicking on the Email icon next to the Search result item - this opens up an email with the URL in the body.
