Veritas not importing disk group
I replicated a device using multi-hop SRDF. The R2 device 2594 is rw_enabled and I'm trying to use vxdg -tC import DG when I get an error message:
VxVM vxdg ERROR V-5-1-10978 Disk group DG: import failed:
No valid disk found containing disk group
I used symclone and copied device 2594 to device 07AD, then I am able to import the disk group with no problem. I'm running Veritas 5.1 on AIX 5300-07. I've heard there is an issue with device >8K (0x2000) and have tried enabling SPC-2 to no avail.
Anyone have any other ideas?
