Quickest way to upgrade Equallogic array firmware without raiding for RAID to initialize?
I am wondering if anyone has a trick they can share on how to upgrade the firmware of a new unit (or newly reset unit) without having to wait for the RAID to initialize fully?
For example, I have a newly reset PS6100 that I just initialized and started to upgrade the firmware on, however when I get to restart phase it fails because the RAID is only 2% initialized.

Yes its in its own group. Would I need to initialize it via CLI to skip the RAID policy setup? I am running 6.0.1 and going to 7.0.5. I already uploaded the firmware, and it's pending applying on reboot. is it ok to reset it again in this state?

Thanks, I reset it again and bypassed the RAID policy setup!
