upgrading firmware on 6100
we have couple of PS6100 EQLs we are going to start setting up for use to backup VMS to, as they are no longer used in production.
was upgrading firmware from GUI, and got the message "information: pending reboot for firmware upgrade on member"
shouldnt it have rebooted automatically and is this an indication of an issue?
do I need to do reboot from CLI?

Hi,
Yes, try rebooting manually from CLI and see if that clears it. What version were you upgrading from and to? Let us know if that doesn’t resolve it.

Hello,
FYI: Using the GUI to upload firmware will NEVER reboot the controllers on its own. You always need to do that manually. Either via the CLI or the GUI.

Do you have any steps to perform the pre-upgrade check before we initiate the upgrades. That helps to eliminate the show stoppers for upgrade!?
