Dimension 2400, maximum ram
I need to know the maximum RAM limit for a desktop, I can not say that computer is, but I opened to check the cpu and the motherboard. CN-0F5949-70821-522-5060 - Intele Celeron 2.60Ghz/128/400 SL6VV Malay. Many thanks for your help

Dimension 2400, Motherboard F5949 is an ancient Vaccum Tube computer more than 15 years old with maximum 2 gigs ram.
This machine is not useable anymore and should be discarded.

12 year old OPTIPLEX GX620 Tower is as old as I recommend because that unit or newer can run msdos all the way thru windows 10.
This machine is running WIN95, WIN98, WIN2000, or XP.
It cannot run newer os. You can actually put the IDE hard drive from this unit into a GX620 and recover data.

Hello the max is 2GB , You would need 2 1GB sticks , J0203 is the part number
