Failed Bluetooth?

Was happily working fine with my Apple AirPods and then it suddenly stopped working.

I've reinstalled the driver from the support site.

When I try and add a Bluetooth device it thinks the Bluetooth controller is not switched on.

Then when I get device manager it says it has failed (little yellow hazard symbol).

CocoPopsUK,

Go into system settings and click devices, bluetooth, and other devices. From there verify that the Bluetooth is turned on.

Hey CocoPopsUK,

Great to hear that it's working again.

I had powered it down for 30mins... it's now working! Weird!!

I had rebooted previously and it was not working... from a cold start it works fine...

Will keep an eye on it.

A power settings issue?

With BT turned on at the Windows BT and Other Devices settings screen, open Device Manager and find the  entry for your BT card. Double-click that entry and click its Power Management tab. Uncheck the box "Allow PC to turn off..".

Exit Device Manager and reboot...
