Graphics Cards
Hello:
Can someone tell me if this card "
Vision Tek Radeon Rx 560 4GB GDDR5 4M 4K, 4 Mini Display ports, AMD Eyefinity, 7.1 Surround Sound, PCI Express, Low-Profile GPU, ATX & SFF Graphics Card - 901278" will work in a Dell 3880 Inspiron?

@akdarr - That card may not work...
Inspiron 3880 has either a 200W or 260W PSU. The card you mentioned says it requires a 350W or higher PSU.
The PSU in the Inspiron 3880 is customized for this model. It can't be easily upgraded, and maybe not without having the new PSU outside the PC's case. Read this about upgrading the Inspiron 3880 PSU.

Removing parts doesn't make your stock 200W Power supply a 365W unit.
Even with the OPTIONAL 260Wpower supply this is NOT enough to support a 75W card.
Using power supply outside the case requires Model specifc adapter for a 24 pin power supply. Not sure if moddiy makes one for this unit.

using basic online psu calculator and assuming i5-10400, 4x4 gb ddr4, the 3880 oem 260w psu is just about sufficient to support RX560 if you have only M.2 ssd and no sata hdd and odd. In other words if you remove mechnical hdd and odd, it saves power so the 260w psu is just enough to support the video card.
