Inspiron 3650, upgrade Power Supply Unit

Hi, I would replace my dell PSU 240w with a model of 300 / 400 or 500 w for my dell inspiron 3650.

Can someone tell me a model of these ( for this cabinet) ?

Thanks.

There are no internal upgrades.

The ugly truth is you remove the internal supply and run wires thru the hole and have the PSU outside the case. You also need MODDIY 24 pin to 8 pin adapter cable.

You cant upgrade a stock power supply because the motherboard uses a proprietary 8 pin connector.

Moddiy makes a 24 pin to 8 pin adapter.

Regular size psu must sit outside the case.

Here's your answer. I did a full upgrade on the 3650 some time ago. 600 watt internal power supply and gtx 1080ti.

I posted pics and links to the parts. I hope this helps.

interesting mod of 3650.  can you explain how one can remove dell cpu socket backplate glued to motherboard backside before one can install the low profile cooler reeven brontes lp cooler?

also what is the process of modding case top panel to add a custom fan?
