Hello, after a lot of hassle with best buy and other bs electronics stores i finally found a way to liquid cool the g5

Asetek 645LT 92mm AIO

Noctua NF-A9x14

you will have to disassemble the entire system and mentally prepare yourself for frustration lmao

thank you! ahah Idle CPU temps went from around 50 to 32ish, still gonna add front fans with zip ties and hope load temp gets to be sub 70

it is now a few weeks later and i have updated the cooling tremendously for this case, posting another thread with pictures now

Nice job! Quick question. Did you use the backplate that comes with the AIO cooler? Just curious to know whether it is actually needed.

Yes, I got an Asetek 645LT 92mm AIO. It looks like all screws fit just fine on the MB but wanted to know if the the backplate that came if the AIO must be mounted. Not sure what is the benefit of using it.
