Unable to update Bios
Vostro 3800
I have downloaded 200_1016.EXE file to update Bios on my Vostro 3800 Desktop PC running on Windows 10. When I run the file to update BIOS, it produces an error popup: Winflash 'not ICH9'
I am unable to understand this error. I am hoping that this update may provide TPM facility and if I could update finally to Windows 11 but the BIOS update is not happening at all. Kindly help.

If I had to guess, I would think that you have winflash installed and it is trying to run the BIOS update as the default program. Also I believe that winflash is an ASUS utility.

Vostro 3800 bios is not a winflash setup
TPM hardware is OPTIONAL and not available in all countries.

Create a bootable USB drive using “Rufus”
Copy the BIOS update to the bootable USB drive you just created..
Insert USB drive, power-on and start tapping the “ F12 “ key.
Boot from USB and run the BIOS update.
After reboot test and post any results.
