Additional Space needed

Additional space is needed for me to restart to factory settings. If I am deleting all the data...why must I free up space when deleting it would do just the same...Right? 

Is there another way I can restart my Dell without freeing up more space because all I have left on my PC is Xbox live and all the other apps Windows puts on your laptop for no reason.

also, if I could get a solution to delete these apps I DO NOT NEED because I want to restart my laptop...that would be helpful too.
