Aleiware Command Center issue

I have an Alienware M17 R4 and recently I received a notification of the Alienware Command Center update.  I was ignoring it for quite some time as all the features were operating normal. Now after I ran the update I no longer have any use of the functions. I then reinstalled the application and I've experienced 2 different errors now. 

Error 1: "No supported AlienFX devices were detected. Alienware Command Center will enable the full FX experience once an AlienFX compatible device is connected. Please note that some features may be unavailable without a connected AlienFX device." 

I'm unable to control fan speed, overclock, change keyboard colors or anything. The app posts this message then auto closes. 

Error 2: I get the app to load but the overclock and fan speed options never fully load it's just this circle of loading and I'm unable to use the features.

I have tried installing MULTIPLE different versions of this app. I've tried changing the AWCCService to - always on for the startup to see if that is the issue. When I re-installed I went into the %app% files and deleted ALL alienware command center files to make sure it's fresh. None of this has worked. I just want my fan control speed back and the app to function as normal. 

I've had issues with this app updating in the past and not working so I was lenient to update this. I should have trusted my gut and just left it alone as it seems the updates never work right. 

I'm also unable to do a system restore to a previous time where it worked as for some odd reason they fail. 


I'm not sure what to do here. Please help.
