Same problem here as well. Alienware Command Center is such a piece of garbage program. It was working fine with my FX compatible keyboard on my x15 R2 and then when updated completely disabled all lighting on the keyboard. Followed Dell's Uninstall - Reinstall instructions exactly and now it won't even reinstall. Such a huge disappointment for good hardware to be controlled by absolutely trash drivers.

Exact same issues as everyone else, I have followed probably 6 different guides, uninstalled this one program over a few dozen times and nothing all over 4 hours lol. Seems to be major error on Dell/Alienware's software end. Hoping there's a fix for this soon as my fans are loud as heck.
I would like to add, that I find it odd when this is downloaded from the dell webpage and "installed" it fails, yet somehow installs AWCC, but through/VIA the Microsoft store for me, even when it isn't even running. What was also weird, was originally I did for sure have it installed as a discoverable app on my Apps and Programs, but it was still installed inside the Microsoft Apps folder as well, something is wonky. lol

Dell Special Edition G15 5521 Laptop and exact same problem for me - I had previously fixed this by installing an older version of Alienware CC but a recent BIOS update caused the problem again and now I am unable to install an older version of ACC because the installer is constantly "interrupted". Seems DELL needs to fix this issue!

Pretty much the same issue here on a literally 4 day old laptop (Dell G15 5515 Ryzen I believe it was). First I had issues with Windows Updates for the first 2 days, then Dell SupportAssist (still not working either), and the AlienWare Command Center. I followed the same steps to uninstall and reinstall. Guess what? It never even reinstalled. After downloading the AWCC file from the Dell site it installed "Alienware Command Center Package Manager", not the program itself. I can't find the program anywhere on my system and I'm no beginner with computers. If it was installed I'd know how to find it and it's not there. The installation claims it worked, I restarted, program is not installed. I run the installer again and try a Repair, same error as others.... "Interrupted...." before it can finish. Nothing interrupted it, no error in Event Viewer and nothing helpful in the log files.
I'm stressed beyond belief. I've been very ill these past 2 years as it is and have a crashing PC, monitor and game console on top of it all. Got a laptop backup for the PC/monitor at least and I get this garbage. I can't deal with these issues. I'm not mentally capable at this time on top of my health issues and the fact I am on satellite internet with only 60GB of bandwidth. All of these issues these last few days has already used up 20GB of my 60 for the month and there are more than 20 days before my reset still. I don't get slowed, I get shut down. This is a stupid joke that everybody's only response to these sort of issues is "redownload and try again" Not everybody has the luxury of that. I can't waste more bandwidth and I refuse to. Fix these problems Dell, this is a stupid joke. I've had nothing but problems with your laptop in the last few days since I got it and I can't deal with them. I've owned 2 other Dell PCs before this and they were all garbage from the start as well. I'm not allowing your company another chance after too much of the exact same issues across multiple computers from your company.
Side note... I despise the laptop keyboards and can't hardly type on them at all. No thanks to big companies shutting down the only store within 100+ miles of me for tech stuff and this stupid pandemic I'm stuck for now with what I can get online which is a laptop I did not want. I want a high end Desktop PC so I can get back to my graphics design I used to work on, not a laptop riddled with problems right out of the package.

Something strange just happened so I thought I would update this thread...
I use AutoCAD primarily at work and today it was bogged down to the point of locking up. Even thought my alienware has been a failure, I decided to hit my "G" button and, miraculously, ALL of the LEDs flashed on! SO I looked in my start menu and, out of nowhere, the Alienware software is suddenly there again and it opens!!! (Has been missing since my last post).
Fingers crossed it will continue to function after my next restart, and I hope this was a fix from Dell or Microsoft and that all of you will have the same luck. Cheers.

To reply to what JTN said, I did get AWCC installed again last night through the MS Store as Dell's copy is clearly broken. I'm back to square one however with the program in an infinite loading circle upon opening and nothing happening. It's still 100% broken on my brand new 6 day old laptop.

I seem to be unable to edit my previous post so forgive an extra post here. I have solved my issue thanks to another random user's solution here on the Dell forums. I was correct in my assumptions and it was 100% a Microsoft issue based on the errors from Event Viewer. For mine I only needed to download the updated Visual C++ Runtimes which for some reason Windows Update failed to pick up and that instantly fixed my issue with the program. I have access to the temperature screen and fan controls now which is the important thing One issue solved, now if only Dell would put out that SupportAssist update so I can see if that is also going to get resolved....

Dell is uploading a broken installer to us all, that's why this is happening. Keep asking them, they need to send a correct, working installer

nothing in this thread is working, and not even a malfunctioning AWCC will install on my laptop. Can never get past the InstallShield Wizard. Why the dirt has Dell not fixed this issue that is so persistent for many people?? Ridiculous and infuriating.

Nothing here works. I've used reddit advice as well (Revo Uninstaller method) and NOTHING IS WORKING. I cannot turn the fans on, on my gaming laptop. Spent 4 hours trying to fix this today. Wildly infuriated.
