Audacity Stops Recording
I have Audacity on my Inspiron 15 5000 i7 and when I am recording all of a sudden when it reaches 15-25 minutes into the recording, it will all of a sudden stop. This has happened to me numerous times and I have stopped using this machine. Rather I will use my 6 YO Dell which is much more processor challenged than this laptop but does not seem to have this problem. When I am recording, I am not anywhere near close to maxing out on my CPU/RAM allocation.
I am wondering if there is anything running in the background that might cause the recording to abort. I tried this question on the Audacity forum without any luck. Any ideas or thoughts?
