backlit keyboard

I have this PC since few months and this week when I opened my laptop my backlit keyboard didn't turn on or tunr RGB lights on, when I tried to press on my laptop keyboard it didn't worked seems like my pc doesn't recognize my backlit keyboard
  - What I did to try and solve it but it didn't work:
delete my keyboard drivers
update my alien command center center and reset it
restart my pc
turning my pc in safe mode
    - but the laptop keyboard still not working
I also noticed in device manager that there's something weird: AWCC Driver (exclamation point), I don't know if it has something with my laptop keyboard who isn't turning lights on and not typing but I need help to fix it
- Also I asked for a cousin to buy me the pc from USA to bring it to me to Algeria so I can't even use my warranty and change my laptop keyboard (even if I barely used it) since it works only in USA and Canada  , please how can I fix it? Reset bios? Reset my windows ?

If your Dell laptop's backlit keyboard isn't turning on, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Check Keyboard Backlight Settings:

    • Many Dell laptops have a keyboard shortcut to control the backlighting. Look for a "Fn" key (usually near the bottom left of the keyboard) and a corresponding key with a backlight icon (often looks like a sun or light bulb).
    • Press and hold the "Fn" key, then press the backlight key to toggle the backlight on/off or adjust its brightness.
  2. Restart the Laptop:

    • Sometimes a simple restart can resolve software-related issues. Try restarting your laptop and see if the backlight turns on afterward.
  3. Adjust Power Settings:

    • On some laptops, the backlight might be affected by power-saving settings. Go to your laptop's power settings and make sure that any power-saving options related to the keyboard backlight are set to your desired preference.
  4. Update Keyboard Drivers:

    • Outdated or corrupt keyboard drivers might cause issues. Update your laptop's keyboard drivers through the Device Manager.
    • Right-click the "Start" button, select "Device Manager," expand the "Keyboards" section, right-click your keyboard, and select "Update driver."
  5. Check BIOS Settings:

    • Some laptops have BIOS settings related to the keyboard backlight. Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS settings (usually by pressing a key like F2 or Del during startup).
    • Look for settings related to the keyboard backlight and ensure they are set correctly.
  6. Check Keyboard Backlight Fuse:

    • In some cases, the backlight fuse on the laptop's motherboard might have blown. This would require professional repair, so consider contacting Dell Support or a local computer repair shop.
  7. Check for Physical Damage:

    • Examine the keyboard for any visible physical damage. If the keyboard has been physically damaged, it might be affecting the backlight's functionality.
  8. Reinstall Keyboard Drivers:

    • If updating the drivers doesn't work, you can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the keyboard drivers.
    • In the Device Manager, right-click the keyboard, select "Uninstall device," and then restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the drivers.
  9. Perform a System Restore:

    • If the backlight was working before and has suddenly stopped, you could consider using Windows' System Restore feature to revert your laptop to a point when the backlight was working correctly.
  10. Contact Dell Support:

    • If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Dell's customer support. They can provide specific guidance based on your laptop model and its configuration.

Remember that troubleshooting hardware issues can sometimes be complex, and it's important to be cautious when working with your laptop's internals. If you're not comfortable with any of these steps, seek assistance from a professional technician or Dell support.
