Bluetooth stops working

Bluetooth stops working at random times after being use, sometimes for a few hours.  Check of Device Manager then says the device is not installed.  Usually a restart fixes the problem, but sometimes it takes more than one restart or i have to power down.  Almost seems like something is overheating and disconnecting.  Note:  WIFI continues to work when this happens, and I believe bluetooth and WIFI share the same radio.
