Boot Pop-Up Screen Help

Question

Hi - Well - I've got the REALLY NICE Dell Inspiron 1737 running Windows 7 Hm. Prem. It's perfect expect for this 'Pop-UP' screen at boot that I simply CANNOT figure out how to make NOT-POP-UP... ! Since I can't add pictures to this post I'll do the best I can to describe it in text form. We'll call it - 'Broadcom NetXtreme Ethernet Boot Agent v11.0.9' because that is the text in the TOP line of a 4 lines of text window. 2nd Line: 'Copyright (C) 2000-2008 Broadcom Corporation' 3rd Line: 'All rights reserved' 4th Line: 'Press Ctrl-S to Configure Device (Mac Address - [& the mac address])' After pressing those keys I see another window that I'll call 'Configuration Window' The top 3 line of that windows are the same as the those in the 1st Window. Then, below and centered above a box is: 'MBA Configuration Menu' The box contains 9 lines of text. 1st line: 'Boot Protocol Â  Â  Â  Â  Preboot Execution Environment (PXE)' That last bit is highlighted. 2nd line: 'Boot Strap Type Â  Â  Auto Detect' 3rd line: 'Hide Setup Prompt Â  Â  Â  Â Disable' 4th Line: 'Setup Key Stroke Â  Â Cntrl-S' 5th Line: 'Banner Message Timeout Â  4 seconds' 6th Line: Â 'Link Speed Â  Â AutoNeg' 7th Line: 'Pre-boot Wake on LAN Â  Â Disable' 8th Line: 'VLAN Mode Â  Â Disable' Last Line: 'VLAN ID (0-4095) Â  Â 0000' Under the box containing the text U see above is the following line of text: Bus = 08 Â Device = 00 Â  Func = 0 Â  Â Mac Address - [and the Mac address] Below that line and CENTERED is ' Select Boot Protocol' Below that is a line from left to right. Under that line are the following:                              Quit       Blink LEDs    Change Value   Change Field     iSCSI Cfg      Save I do understand that this config screen is 'supposed' to allow me to change the pre-boot behavior - but I can NOT seem to click the right thing(s) to make that happen. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

It looks like the LAN boot is enabled in your BIOS. Have you looked at the BIOS to see if in fact that option is enabled? Also the following might help.
