Brightness control panel not showing up
I tried changing the power plan settings on control panel but it didn't work. The indicator setting does not show up at all. I can't change the brightness.

there's no brightness option in the control panel, if you want to control the brightness, then go into settings>system>display and there should be a brightness slider that you can adjust, or there should be a function on your laptop keyboard which allows you to adjust the brightness of the screen by pressing Fn + F_ key, where the _ is the number of the specified F keys which controls the brightness

Please follow the below steps:
Open the Device Manager on your computer.
Expand Monitors.
Uninstall all the monitors listed.
Reboot your computer.
After reboot, you should only see one entry under Monitors.
Try to adjust the brightness on Windows Setting again.

you cannot physically add this to the control panel but you can use a sticky key to manipulate the brightness or you can press the windows key then q to adjust the screen brightness automatically, look on support page for additional help
